No surprise upscaling
Enlarging an image can't add detail — it only makes files bigger and blurrier. Pixnex never enlarges images unless you tick “Allow enlarging small images”.
Aspect ratio
With aspect lock on, the image is scaled to fit inside the width and height you enter, so nothing is stretched. Turn it off only if you deliberately want exact dimensions.

No. This tool decodes and re-encodes your images inside your browser tab using built-in browser features. The files never leave your device unless you choose to share the downloaded results.
What is the largest image I can resize?
Free users can process images up to 50 megapixels and 16,384 px on a side. Very large images depend on your device's available memory.
